White sauce pasta or White sauce Vegetable pasta recipe in white sauce made using white flour , butter and milk with little spices. White sauce reipe is origanily a Itelian cousine. White sauce is used in various recipes like pasta, lasagne. White sause pasta is one of the most popular Italian recipes. Pasta in White Sauce is a delicious creamy pasta recipe made in fresh cream with fresh vegetables. We can White sause pasta more flavourful if garnish the pasta with some extra oregano seasoning and chilli flakes.
White sauce pasta Ingredients
Pasta – 200 grams
Milk – 200 grams
Oil – 1 Tbsp
Butter – 2 Tbsp
All purpose flour (Maida) – 1 Tbsp
Some Mix dry herbs (Italian seasoning)
Oregano – 1/2 tsp
Dry chili flakes – 1/2 tsp
Some vegetables of your choice
Carrot – 1 finely chopped
Capsicum – 1 finely chopped
Green beans – 6-7 finely chopped
Salt – 2 tsp
Black pepper powder – 1 tsp
How to cook White sauce pasta
Step 1 – to boil pasta
Take a pan boil the water in it.
Add little oil and salt to it.
In boiling water add pasta.
Boil for 10 mins – 15 mins till tender.
Strain it and add cold water to it.
Step – 2 Sauté vegetables
Take a pan.
Add 1 tsp butter and melt it.
Add carrot, green beans and capsicum.
Sauté for 1 to 2 mins.
Close the flame and keep aside.
Step – 3 making white sauce.
Take a pan.
Add 2 Tbsp butter.
Add all purpose flour (Maida).
Sauté on 1 min on low flame.
Add milk it little by little.
Stir continuously so that there is no lumps in the sauce.
Mix well and bring to boil till the sauce becomes little thick.
Add salt, pepper and mix dry herbs.
Mix well and close the flame.
White sauce is ready.
Step 4 – Mixing all above.
Add sauté vegetables and pasta to white sauce.
Mix well and sauté for 1-2 mins on medium flame.
White sauce pasta is ready to serve hot.
Garnish with some crushed black pepper.
