Honey Chilli Potato Recipe

Honey chili potato is a crispy Indo Chinese snack which is very delicious. Made with deep fried potatoes coated with a mixture of sweet and sour flavors. Honey Chilli potato is easy and yummy dish. A perfect starter for party or any get together.


Potatoes – 3 medium size cut into
long finger shape and soaked in water
All purpose flour (Maida) – 2 Tbsp
Corn flour – 2 Tbsp
Oil – 1 Tbsp and some for frying
Soya sauce – 1 tsp
Honey – 1 tsp
Vinegar – 1 tsp
Red chili powder – 1/2 tsp
Salt – 2 tsp
Sesame seed- 1 tsp
Black pepper powder – 1/2 tsp
Green chili – 1 cut into two pieces
Ginger paste – 1/2 tsp
Tomato ketchup – 2 Tbsp
Capsicum – 1 cut into long strips


Take a bowl, add potatoes.
Add maida, cornflour, 1 tsp salt and little red chili powder.
Add 1 Tbsp oil and mix well.
The potatoes should-be coated well. Add 1 – 2 tsp water if needed.
Now deep fry these potatoes till golden brown.
Keep aside.
Take a pan add 1 tbsp oil.
Add capsicum and fry for a min.
Add green chili and ginger paste.
Mix well, add salt, red chili powder, black pepper powder, Sesame seed, soya sauce, tomato ketchup, vinegar and honey.
Add fried potatoes and mix well.
Fry on high flame for 2 mins.
Keep for a min with closed lid in steam.
Mix well and serve hot , your yummy honey chili potatoes are ready.
